Cockroaches

Picture from: Cockroaches

I chose the cockroach because of so many in my house that would crawl once the door would open in my grandma's kitchen and why we have so many cockroaches here in Hawaii.

What are Cockroaches good for?

Cockroaches are food supplies for many organisms like small mammals, birds, amphibians and lizards. Cockroaches are classified as omnivore scavengers in which they are like garbage disposers by eating up decomposed organic litter such as other cockroaches. They are over 3000 species of cockroaches and only 10 are classified as pests. The other species of cockroaches are part of the biodiversity on earth.
